The current census of exoplanets may be found at the Extrasolar Planets Encyclopaedia. Most exoplanets known to date are too close to their star and so too hot for life as we know it. A few are too far away from their stars and so too cool for life as we know it. The three detection techniques have different sensitivities to these different types of planet. Good planets are hard to find. So far, we only know of one planet like the Earth - and we're living on it!
